The Day Jesus left Heaven

Right now as I write this we are beginning the Easter season. Christmas was over three months ago and all of the decorations have been taken down. As I reflected on Christmas this year I had the image in my mind of heaven just before Jesus left to become the baby boy born to Mary and Joseph.

You know it was nine month before Christmas that Mary was impregnated with Jesus. So it is about the same time in April when we celebrate Easter that Jesus left heaven and it was around April when Jesus returned to heaven. I wonder what the significance of that is? I’ll figure it out someday.

Philippians 2:5 -8 Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn't think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what, not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn't claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death—and the worst kind of death at that—a crucifixion.

9 -11 Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father. (The Message Bible)

To comprehend what Jesus did, imagine him sitting on the throne in heaven next to the Father (they are one but yet still three separate entities). The Holy Spirit is all around. The moment has come. It is time for the baby Jesus to be conceived. The Angel appears to Mary and begins to tell her what is going to happen to her:

Luke 1: 30“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (KJV)

As the angel is telling her this, Jesus stands up in heaven and like an everyday piece of clothing he removes the glory of the father and lays it upon the empty seat of the throne. Then he lays down his majesty, royalty, omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience. He takes off everything except his bare deity and stands spiritually naked before all of heaven. For a brief moment heaven is quiet, not a sound, not a movement, life frozen in time. The heavenly choir is holding its breath. The flickering waves of glory that radiate from the throne stand still like frozen ice in space.

Then suddenly Jesus is gone. You could look through every inch of heaven and Jesus would not to be found because now he has come to earth. He has given up everything and now dwells in the form of a little baby fetus. He has become like us. His deity has joined with the human egg of Mary and for the next nine months he will grow in her womb just as any other man. Then for the next twelve years he will depend on human parents to provide for him, teach him and nurture him until he become a full grown man. Then at Age thirty he will begin his ministry and the rest of the story is well known.

Can you imagine Jesus giving up all those things he had in heaven, the power that created the worlds, the glory, the omniscience, the omnipotence and everything that made him who he was, God, and become a simple man? He was not only just a man but the perfect human sacrifice to pay for the sins of the whole world. That the life he chose to live would pay a painful price to redeem all of mankind from their sins and give them a new life. One in which they could live forever with him in heaven. From the day he was born, that first Christmas morning, he was destined to die a horrible painful death so we might live eternally.

Jesus gave all he had so we could receive all that the father could give; righteousness, peace, joy, fullness of the Holy Spirit and so much more. If we who are now in Christ Jesus are living by the power of Jesus then we are also created or I should say recreated to give as he gave. Not just our money but our time, our hearts, our lives if necessary so that others also might live eternally. Giving is supposed to be part of our new nature. Giving should be easy or is it.

We might think it was easy for Jesus to leave all those things in heaven and become a man, after all he is God, but maybe it was not so easy. The bible said he had to humble himself to become a man. That is not necessarily an easy thing to do. To be number one in heaven and take yourself down to become lower than the creatures that you created. Man had submitted himself to Satan and became a slave to Satan. Jesus was not under the power of Satan but had to accept the status of a slave to be truly human. Giving up his place in heaven wasn’t necessarily easy but Jesus was committed to the plan that the triune God developed before the foundations of the world. Giving was a choice and a commitment.

We always think of Christmas as the season of giving but Easter is the real time of giving. God so loved the world that he gave us his only begotten Son. Jesus.

Conservative Violence

Glenn Beck pointed out the other day that the radicals who were rioting, burning American flags, bombing police stations and Army bases in the 1960 are now the ones running the government. America saw them as radical, crazies, dope smoking, mindless zombies led by other radicals. They were marginalized. They didn’t really have a voice at the table with the respectable people.

Now the table has turned. The radicals are the ones running the government. We are the ones doing the demonstartions. The Social Democrats and the media want to do the same thing to us that was done to them in the 60's. That is why they are jumping on any signs of violence or unusual behavior as being typical of the Tea Party members. They want to marginalize us, make people believe that we are not rational; we are a bunch of racist, hate filled crazies who don’t deserve a voice at the table.

Social Democrats, Progressives, Alinsky-ites, Marxist and Fascist always have to have a bad guy to blame. Hitler blamed the Jews. Stalin blamed the capitalist as does Chavez, Castro and so on. There is always a bad guy or a straw man to point out into space and blame. The Tea Party people give them someone to point to. They point out how we hate blacks and Hispanics, Every word is measured and if it is out of line in any way they make an issue of it. Anything that happens anywhere negatively is the result of our attitudes and hate speech. People who love freedom, God and country are the enemy of their great society. We must be demeaned and pushed back and shut upped. Christians are their enemy. America’s religious fervor is their enemy.

The Democrats are demanding the Republicans denounce the violence and threats or step down. Wow is this a reverse end around. Republicans have been getting threats for months but nothing was made of it by the media, but now it different. Now they can use it for their propaganda. Now they can use it to make a public spectacle. So they shout it from the rooftops. To get what they want they are out to destroy everyone they can.

For the media this is a good way to distract the unwitting public about the reality that is happening to their country. Point to the bad guys on the street while in the shuttered offices and behind closed doors are radically changing our country from a free democratic republic to socialist controlled state.

People be wary. Any mistake you make will be amplified, displayed and You-Tubed. They have been planning this for 40 years. Now they are in charge. They are going to finish their plan, but only if we let them. Strike back but in the appropriate way, phone, email and voting.

The Army of Children

The president was arguing for his healthcare bill, after he had already won the healthcare fight, begging that people needed to get out and promote this thing. He specifically said “children you need to sit down and talk with your parents’ about the healthcare bill". He assumes the children know more about the bill and that they know better than their parents do. He is giving order to his new army.

The children are under attack, a different kind of attack, the kind that you use to see in Soviet Russia and Germany. It is the attack of the indoctrination in our public schools and on TV. We have complained for years that the schools are dumbing down our kids. That is on purpose. The Social Democrats (SD) need kids who are not aware of their history, the men and women who died for freedom. The SD need kids who don’t understand the Constitution, what it means, how we got it and why it is so important.

The TV has taught our kids that parents are stupid. Look at Malcolm in the Middle, the Simpsons and all the other sitcoms. The men are emasculated, weak and stupid. American men are nothing to be proud of. Fathers are to be disrespected. Kids have no problem accepting this idea. That reinforces what they believe anyway. Kids have always thought they were smarter than adults. The Progressives are just playing upon this to manipulate them. Turning them against their parent is easy to do. This is what Germany did before WWII. This is what Stalin and Mao did.

School teaches them about social justice, save the planet, save the poor, save the animals, etc., etc. Obama has a web site where teenagers can sign up for a summer camp type training on how to be a community organizer, (organizers for socialism of course). This is creating a large young army of ideologues who believe in and will support the socialist agenda. They will learn that for the greater good of the country they must bring change to the United States. Change for equality of outcome and economic fairness for all, social justice. They will help to root out the opposition, all those who stand in the way of the great new society of fairness and justice for all. Your children and your grandchildren will be your enemy. This is history repeating itself unless you are willing to fight for freedom once again. We have to stop this socialist train before it gathers anymore steam. It will take sacrifice, sweat and tears but we can save our country.

No, I'm not a Racist

Some would say I’m a racist because I am against Obama. I am against what is in Obama head not the color of his skin. In fact Obama is not the real problem. He is simply the front man. The people behind him are the real problem. He is like the barker at the circus, out front on stage calling to the people getting them to come inside and see the show. It’s the people on the inside who are running things, the people controlling the show, pulling the strings and doing the magic. It would be nice to see who is really hiding behind that tent. Is it George Soros who occasionally visits the White House? Is it the union leaders that visit frequently?

George is a guy who used capitalism to gain billions of dollars. He didn’t use it like we do, he gamed the system. He used every crooked deal in the book to gain an advantage over others and made a killing. Now that he has got his, he wants to can the rest and sit on it. He is a big proponent of socialism. He has given millions of dollars to socialist/progressive groups like moveon.org, democratic candidates and others. He openly wants to destroy the American way of doing things. So why is he so welcome at the White House? Why does he even have a say in our politics? Why do we allow him to spend money on our political process? Inquiring minds want to know.

I’m against socialism. I’m against socialism in America. I’m against progressivism and liberalism that attempts to do the same thing but slowly. I’m against anyone who wants to destroy America, our free system and our liberty. I’m against the guy hiding behind the curtain. If Obama lines up on that side of the playing field then I’m against Obama.

The fix

With the noise about "repeal the bill", not funding the health provisions and nullifying as much of the bill as possible until we get a conservative president in office, we still need to look at the bigger picture. How did we get here? How do we fix it and what can we do to prevent it from happening again?

We just crossed over the line into major socialism. The healthcare bill made most of the structural changes the progressives (Social Democrats) needed to create a completely government dependent population whether we wanted it or not. Soon to follow will be bills on banking control, big business control, immigration deform and taxes, taxes and more taxes. Their plan is to redistribute the wealth, punish the rich and make economic slaves out of all of us. This will move us towards a beautiful one world utopia where we all live happily ever after (choke, cough).

It’s a beautiful dream but that is all that it is, a dream that will destroy not just capitalism but the country and a people. We got to this horrible place by slow incremental changes in our government, our laws and our courts over the last 100 years. To fix it like it happened, take 100 years to undo the progressive destructive work, is not acceptable. We need to fix the problems and fix it in such a way so it cannot happen again. This requires going back to the Constitution, our foundation, and correct the changes that allowed this happen and look at the loopholes that open the door to these changes. I have said repeatedly there were a few definitions that are needed and some amendments that should be repealed.

The 14th amendment is one place where we got off base. Where the states had all the authority that was not specifically stated in the Constitution the 14th amendment boomeranged all the federal limitations back onto the states and gave the federal government certain powers over the states to prevent further insurrection and secession after the civil war. This should be studied so the federal government cannot use this amendment to exercise authority over the states and expand it largeness without limitations.

Decide on a flat tax or repeal the 16th amendment. A flat tax might simplify the IRS but will still require reporting personal information to the government. Honest people will comply but the criminal element and dishonest citizen will still be a problem. Honest citizens will still get caught and punished while the dishonest can still avoid it. The flat tax if accepted should be implemented with limitations so it cannot easily be changed without the consent of the people. The flat tax should apply to 100% of the people.

Currently the progressive tax we have is being paid by a few people and enjoyed by many. It is impossible for the people paying the brunt of taxes right now to have an equal voice in the argument about taxes. The people not paying taxes, but receiving benefits, out number the ones who are paying taxes. This inequality should be eliminated by congress or the courts. I would like the courts to say that the Tax Code is an unfair and unequal application of the law.

A sales tax to generate revenues would be more in line with the original intentions of our founders. They were aware of the dangers of a direct tax on the people. A sales tax eliminates the IRS and the need to report your personal data to the government. A sales tax will get collected no matter where the money came from, honestly or otherwise. Everyone would pay the tax whenever they purchased anything retail.

The long term fix is also the quick fix. We need a constitutional convention called with a limited agenda just to fix these specific problems. When the constitutional changes are made then there would be a short period of time to review all current laws and budget expenditures and those that fail the test would be eliminated. Every area and agency where the federal government has grown outside the boundaries of the revised Constitution would be shut down, cut off, caputt.

A new amendment should be added. No elected or appointed representative of the United States shall be exempted from the application of any law passed by Congress (they should not be able to exempt themselves, even the president) . Nor shall any employee or class of employees of the United States be exempted unless agreed upon by two third of vote in both houses. In such case the person(s) shall be named and the limitation shall expire after a maximum of seven years. (Nobody should have special treatment).

And another amendment: The employee amendment. The average salaries and benefits of employees of the United States government shall not exceed the nominal average benefits of the working private sector. All conditions of employment and termination for any employee the United States government shall be the same conditions as employees working in the private sector. The above conditions and benefits shall be determined every three years by a panel represented equally by private employees, private management, public employees and public management.

The general idea is to fix the Constitution so Social Progressives, Marxists, communists or socialists can never gain control of our government again. We want to reset the system and bar the door. No more government takeovers allowed.

About the healthcare plan

• Adding 30 million people to insurance plans who don’t pay for insurance will increase your premium about $90/month right off the bat.

• Government price controls will force a number of doctors out of business because they cannot charge enough to cover their cost. Doctor shortages will add to the cost of individuals insurance.

• Government price controls will force a number of hospitals to close causing longer waits, increasing cost.

• Doctors who do not want to be under government control will leave their practice for other opportunities. Surveys show that a minimum of 30% of the medical profession will leave medicine. Results: doctor shortages (like Canada and England) and longer waits.

• Projected revenue sources in the bill are unrealistic. A proposed 500 billion dollar cut in Medicare will not happen or seniors will have to do without. The 250 billion dollar Doc fix elimination will not happen. Results: Your premium increases about $250/month to cover seniors and disabled persons or we let them die.

• Part of the income revenue planned is to put a tax on all medical devices. Anyone using any medical equipment to improve their quality of life will have to pay more for that equipment and replacement costs. Which also drive up the overall cost of insurance paying for these devices? Either costs will go up or people will make do without them. It's cheaper to suffer sometimes. If the latter then revenues will not meet expectations. Taxes will increase to cover losses. (just like California, they keep raising taxes until there is nothing left to collect from and now they are broke)

• The added requirements to what businesses provide will drive up their cost considerable. One large national company said the requirements will use up half their profits. The reason to stay in business is to make a reasonable profit. The effect will be more unemployed as businesses have to cut cost to stay in business as a result of this healthcare plan.

• Businesses will figure out that paying the penalty for not providing employees with insurance is cheaper than providing it with all the added cost. They will tell you to go to the government plan. (Exactly what the socialist want). The cost of the government plan will be higher. Ask Massachusset. Their cost has risen dramatically. They pay the highest premiums in the country. They are having to reduce their coverage (rationing) and wating list are starting to happen.  They only survive because the federal government keeps them propped up. Who is going to prop up the federal government? California?

• Insurance companies currently make about a 4% profit. Compare this to most major corporations who make between 10% and 20% profit. Price controls and government mandates will drive them out of business leaving the government option as the only choice for individuals.

• Insurance companies will start adjusting their prices to account for changes in the law before the cost actually start hitting the door. Your premium will go up as soon as they compute their expected cost.

• All the taxes and cost start happening right away. The implementation of the actual coverage (benefits) will not start until 2014. You will be paying for four years before you ever see one penny of benefit.

• The bill includes in their budget billions of dollars in cost cutting and eliminating fraud and waste. Government has never been able to cut cost, fraud or waste in anything over any period of time. If they could why are they not doing it already? This is actual cost that will be added to your monthly premium sooner or later.

• The bill will add 16,000 IRS agents to enforce it. Who will pay for this cost (2 billion dollars a year)? You will. Every year everyone will have the extra stress of making sure they all their insurance papers in order for the IRS to prevent a medical audit. Fun if you change jobs at the end of the year.

• The bill adds 160 new agencies to oversee, monitor, dictate rules and decide who can get what care for how much money. How do you sort all this out? Who pays for this? Who do you answer to? Which agency has authority over the other?

• They added the student loan program to the bill. There are no more private student loans. The government owns it all. Students will pay several extra percent to the cost of their loan to help cover the medical plan. Instead of a 3% student loan they will now pay 6%. This is what we do to our kids.

• A tax on the wealthy continues to increase for every thing the government wants. Sooner or later they decide to quit making money (don’t invest, no investment money, no jobs) and just sit on what they have or eventually they run out of money. In the long run the little guy will have to pay more for his share or have no money to pay for anything.

• Summary:

o There is no free lunch or in this case healthcare. Everyone who now has insurance will have to pay a lot more under this plan. To start with about $300/month once the dust settles and it will increase after that.

o Liberals Democrats say this plan will cost fewer than one trillion dollars over ten years. Conservative say it is closer to 2.9 trillion dollars. Medicare was projected to be 9 billion over ten years when it was first created in 1965. It was actually $107 billion. No government program has ever come close to its original estimated cost.

o The plan will create shortages which will increase cost.

o Shortages will require rationing like in England. You have to reserve the labor room 10 month in advance to have a baby in a hospital in England. ah-hemm Do the math.

o The plan will eliminate innovation. American innovation is driven in a great deal by the profit motive. All the socialist countries with government run healthcare do not have any medical innovation. It all comes from the USA and other free enterprise countries.

o The government has never passed any bill that hasn’t contained unintended consequences. A bill of over 2700 pages will contain so many unintended consequences that it will be impossible to deal with them. A good bill coming from Congress will be only 3 to 5 pages long.

o Most importantly the plan will bankrupt America. The plan takes (supposedly) $500 billion from Medicare which is already bankrupt ($36 trillion in debt) to fund a new plan. That is illogical. That is trying to borrow money from an overdrawn bank account to pay for debt on a new credit card.

o This healthcare plan is a poison apple. The evil witch shows us a pretty apple. It looks good. It looks appealing. Initially it tastes good. The fruit feels good in your mouth. In the end the poison takes effect and you die.

o Name one country that started out as a socialist country and grew into a prosperous, thriving productive country. There are none. Every socialist country came from a productive country that was taken over and made it into a country that just exists. Unemployment is high in every one. Taxes are high in every one. The rich, the wealthy and the productive people have either quit trying or left. There is no incentive.

o The people running our government want us to be socialist like much of Europe. To be like Europe? They cannot defend themselves. They cannot afford a decent military. They all depend on the United States. Their economies are not growing, just existing. Four European socialist countries are failing, bordering on bankruptcy. Unemployment in Europe is running around 15% to 20%. Why do we want to be like that?

o Real Americans who know their history, patriotic Americans are not socialist and don’t want to be socialist. Socialism is a form of slavery. The government is the master. You do what they tell you to do or else they don’t give you what you need.

• Conservatives are planning stop this bill from being implemented and replace it with common sense legislation that will actually lower cost and still leave people free to make their own choices. There are good ideas in the bill which would work but without the socialism price tag that goes with it.

Have You Ever Been Employed by a Poor Person?

How many of you have ever worked for a poor person? None? Why Not? Liberals rage against the wealthy. They want to take their money and redistribute so it will be "fair" for everyone. “The rich get richer” they say. “They have plenty so they should share”.

Currently the top 1% of income earners pays 40% of the government revenues. The bottom 47% of income earners pays 0% of the government revenues. Is that fair? If the rich get richer then they also pay more and more.

Back to the first question: Your employer may not be wealthy but he cannot be poor. Poor people don't create jobs. Poor people don't invest. Your boss's purpose is to make money but he cannot do it without investing, taking risk and creating jobs for others. The more money he has then more is re-invested back into his company. If he gets rich it is because his business grew and along with it jobs increased. More people benefit if the guy you work for gets richer. If he doesn't get richer and re-invest, if the company doesn't grow he will not make more money and there will be fewer jobs.

If you work at a corporation the investors want to make money but in order to do that they must invest in a profit making, jobs creating business. To make more money manufacturing or services have to increase. The bigger the company the more there is to be made and there are more jobs to go along with it. The investor will not make money unless the business grows, sales increase and the number of jobs increase. If the rich get richer they can only do it by increasing their investments thereby creating more jobs. The rich don’t get rich sitting on their hands stuffing their money in coffee cans. As the rich get richer more and more people are working.

When more people are working they are spending their money, buying more of the goods and services that make your boss richer so he can grow and create more jobs. That is called capitalism. We all benefit.

The socialist don’t like rich people. They want to spread the wealth around. ‘Tax the rich, tax the rich’ is the mantra. The rich are evil. They say the rich are getting wealthy off the backs of the poor. So you take the money from that horrible rich man who was investing and creating all those jobs. Duh! Now you have no job and you’re mad at the rich guy. Well ‘he should pay more’ you say. He should give and you should take. You take more of his investment money then he can’t create jobs. Sooner or later either he is going to run out of money for you to take or he will just grow tired of you taking it and he will start putting what money he has left in that coffee can to save for himself. Then there will be no more jobs for anyone.

Then you are out of work. Everybody is poor. Now you are all equal. Equally poor. Just what you wanted, right?

****************************************************
Capitalism is the equal opportunity to make everyone unequally happy.

Socialism will simple make everyone equally miserable.

They went and did what shouldn't have been done

Well they passed the healthcare bill last night. Is America going to be like Lazarus. We are gonig to die before we can have new life.

The title “America’s Greatest Terrorist” to the United States should now go Obama.

His accomplishments so far:

• The non-stimulus package was not intended to stimulate anything. It has only run up the debt and only a few billion has actually been spent to produce anything. It is only productive work that does anything to build the economy. the stimulus was mostly use for a cronyism slush fund and rewarding friends of Obama and democrats.

• The government takeover of private businesses

• Discouraging and ticking off our allies.

• Running up the national debt to record amounts taking us to the same possible fate as Greece, bankruptcy. Presenting a budget which would do even more damage.

• Increasing taxes when he said he would not which discourages small businesses.

• Embracing the global warming fantasy to try to pass cap and trade (cap and tax) legislation and when it failed he is trying to do it by royal decree (executive order).

Now that the health care legislation has passed it will add to the destruction.

• The threat of ever changing regulations that affects business planning. How many project have been put on hold because nobody knows what the government is going to do next.

• First it passed using unconstitutional methods and against the will of the people. If this sets the new standard of corruption for passing legislation then our democratic republic is dead. If this stands we all fall. America was the nation that held to the rule of law until now. We are quickly coming under the rule of the lawless.

• Second we see the mafia, Chicago style of operating in Washington. If this becomes the normal way of doing things then we have truly become a banana republic. We have reached third world status in a matter of a couple of years.

• On the bill itself we can see that the penalties and taxes in health care will drive many small businesses out of business. Those that were barely hanging on will be pushed over the brink. Even those that remain will lay people off to avoid the extra cost. Unemployment will reach record numbers everywhere.

• Individual cost will go up in many different ways. First taxes will increase to pay for the basics then there are individual penalty for not buying the government directed insurance. The added cost of 16,000 new IRS agents hired just to enforce the new mandates. There’s the cost of providing documentation to prove you have insurance and finally the fear and intimidation you will live in every April 15th if the paperwork doesn’t fall in line as required. The taxpayer gets to pay the salaries of the people used to harass them annually.

• Cost controls and insurance mandates will force insurance companies to go out of business, thereby requiring us to go to the government option as the only provider of insurance.

• The cost of hiring goes up and thus more people out of work for longer periods of time. There are people who have been out of work for nearly two years already. That is the longest period of out of work employees since the depression and it will not get better.

• Doctors will leave their medical practice. From 30% to 50% of the doctors plan to quit if this goes into full deployment. They did not go into medicine with the intent of working for the government.

• Fewer doctors, millions more people looking for free medical care and less money for the providers means that will be shortages, waiting lines, rationing, hospital closings and higher medical cost for lower quality service.

• Less innovation and medical advancements because the profit motive to do this is removed. Why invest billions to develop an idea when all you are going to do is maybe break even or lose money?

• The healthcare bill is more about control and power. If the government can take away your healthcare when you don’t toe the government line then they control you and your life. If you don’t like the indoctrination or buy into the socialist ideas then your treatment for swine flu might be “take two aspirins and call me next month.” Break a leg and the treatment will be “sit real still for two months and see how it does”. If you say “yes sir”, “no sir” and “all hail Obama” as directed then you might get reasonable treatment.

To follow this Obama and the democrats are planning to take over even more area of government and pass more legislation that will make it almost impossible to remove them from government control and from congress. The mantra will always be “they (conservatives) are going to take your “_____” (fill in the blank) away”. They want everyone so dependent on the government that it becomes our national socialist addiction. But without economic growth the boat will run out of pails with which to bail it out. Soon our boat will sink. Some say in as little as four years after the cost of this bill kicks in. America will be no more.

Nancy said this healthcare bill “will kick in the door” for more legislation to follow. What diabolical things are they planning next? They want to take over the internet. they want amnesty for illegal immigrants. Who knows what lurkes in their evil minds.
Obama consider himself to be a “Constitutional lawyer” as he taught constitutional law in college. I think his real expertise is seeing how to avoid the Constitution to create his Marxist dream. If he was naively sincere about how this was the idealistically the best for the American people and he was upright and honest about his actions it would be at least a hearty debate about healthcare. But with the underhanded methods, arm twisting, shutting out the opposition, backroom deals, cronyism, openly communist Czars who answer to nobody and blatant lying about what the healthcare bill will do leaves us with nothing but the feeling that we have a person in the mold of a Chavez, Lenin or Mao’s predecessor Wang Ming.

“Wang was a theorist and lecturer rather than an activist, an idealist rather than a realist, and an intellectual rather than a politician. The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) would never win the revolution through speeches and theories. When Wang won power, his immaturity and recklessness, with little experience of struggling under tough conditions, was uncovered. He seldom realized that his power was built on sand. Compared with Mao, who was a veteran survivor of the cruel power struggle inside and outside CCP, Wang was destined to fall once he lost support from Moscow.” (Wikipedia)
Mao followed Wang Ming, Stalin followed Lenin. Millions died. Who will follow Obama if he gets away with this destruction of our Constitution? How many will have to die. We will not leave this disaster to our children to pay for. We will leave it to our children who believe in the Marxist utopia. The rest will not survive.

The solution: The states need to call a Constitutional convention and put the Constitution back on track. We need to return to the rule of law not the lawless. We don’t need to change the original Constitution or the original amendments. We need to revoke the amendments that open the door to an out of control government and clarify by agreement definitions like the “Commerce clause”, the “Spending clause” and the “Establishment clause”. Defining these clearly according to the founder’s intentions would put our government in it place, cancel out a lot of the regulations and agencies that a true republic democracy should not have.

We need to amend or repeal the 14th amendment to limit the federal government again. We need to repeal the 16th amendment to remove the income tax and the IRS. We need to repeal the 17th amendment so Senators will be chosen by their states senates not by popular vote so to be beholden to the interest of the state and not be required to campaign for re-election. The popular vote was for the congressmen so there would be a separate type representation in congress. As it is there is no difference between congressmen or senators. They both use taxpayer dollars to get re-elected.

Without a constitutional convention we will accomplish nothing. If we try to repeal all this stuff a little at a time then we will end up with compromises here and there that eventually will take us down the same road of compromises we done for the last 100 years and those compromises are what got us here in the first place.

Assorted quotes taken from Townhall.com commentaries:

“…..When a deep blue state voted a Republican into Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat, largely on the basis of his opposition to ObamaCare, the President and Democrats simply changed the rules of the game, attempting to shoehorn a massive expansion of the welfare state into a procedure intended to correct minor discrepancies between House and Senate legislation.

Apparently, House Rules committee member (and impeached, then removed judge) Alcee Hastings (D-FLA) was right when he insisted, “There are no rules here . . . we simply make them up as we go along.” But Americans understand that a Congress with “no rules” is a frightening beast – especially when its lawlessness is actively encouraged by the nation’s Chief Executive. “

“…….Americans, a majority of who oppose the health care bill, can see through all of this. They aren’t stupid. But apparently, their president believes that many of them are – they simply don’t understand the beneficence of the legislation that he is prepared to force upon them, presumably for their own good. As for the rest, it seems he thinks they’re wickedly opposing a bill that would benefit others for nothing more than their own selfish reasons. "

Can a president successfully govern a nation when he apparently believes that a majority of its citizens are either stupid or wicked? …….. the most enthusiastically pro-government president in recent American history has demonstrated once and for all just how corrupt, cynical and inept government can be. “
------

“But today, cronyism is so flagrant and blatant at the highest ranks of our government … The stunning, “we’ll-stop-at-nothing” fight to take-over the healthcare industry and the medical profession has put Obama-styled cronyism on full display – and therein lays the greatest assault on America. “

Let me share with you a portion of an email from a long-time member of the House of Representatives. Here's a look at process ... and you're not going to like what you see:
It is official: the President and the Speaker have decided to ram a health care bill through the Congress this week. The first step for this newly introduced 2,300 page bill is for it to be rushed through the Budget Committee this afternoon. As you saw if you clicked on the link to the bill, the legislation is moving so fast that it hasn't even been assigned a bill number yet.
While you can read this new bill here, it won't be worth your time. Why? Because these 2,300 pages aren't even the 2,300 pages that the President and Speaker Pelosi want us to vote on. That's right: the pages that they want us to vote on haven't even been completed yet. The bill that the Budget Committee is working on is simply a placeholder because the Speaker is still working out new language. The plan, we're told, is that Budget Committee will finish its work today to move the process along and then tomorrow--likely deep into the night--the Rules Committee will take up the bill. The Rules Committee will completely erase the 2,300 pages approved by the Budget Committee and insert thousands of entirely new pages into the bill. Don't worry, though: the Speaker has promised us at least 1 hour to read those several thousand new pages before the Rules Committee votes. No, I'm not laughing either.
Obviously, this is not the way that any bill should be considered in Congress, butt his is definitely not the way to handle something as important as health care reform and something so enormous that it accounts for almost 20% of our entire economy.
Our founding fathers set up our government so it would work slowly. Everything was to open and above board. On any issue there was to be open debate and time to ponder each component of a bill. The public could be aware of what was being discussed and have input to their representatives. If anything was done it was not to be hidden or slipped by quickly.

Why would you want to veer away from this slow methodical open and deliberate process of our republican system? There is only one reason; you have something very big you want to hide. Why would a bill affecting 16% of our economy, altering much of our way of life, only is given one hour to read and then without allowing discussion, debate or alternatives have to be voted on? There is a lot in this bill the President and the Democrats do not want you to see. Why? When a group of people who hate capitalism, love Marxist, love big government want to pass secret legislation it has to be a huge takeover of power hidden in it. This is how Hugo Chavez came to power. This is how he has become the almost absolute dictator of his country. Is this why the President said he will only serve one term? Perhaps he, like Hugo, is planning the redefine the term to be "as long as he wants"

Our current course of deficits, debts and ever growing government will take us to the brink of destruction. Does the President and his party think they have the superman ability to pull us back from the brink and create a shiny new socialist system without harming a lot of people. Stalin couldn't do it. Mao couldn't do it. Castro couldn't do it. Many in the USA will be harmed, even die in order for them to fulfill their Marxist dream. It all hinges on how congress will vote on this health care behind the curtain bill. If the bill passes it will be the beginning of the end of a free United States of America. If this bill passes unemployment will increase greatly. The cost of health care will go up. Doctors will quit. Businesses will fail.

If you think it will stop here just wait. They have plenty more bills to be passed quickly to prevent other great crises they have yet to discover. We are heading towards anarchy. This is what they will get.

Simple Economics

Economics is not too complicated when you really look at it. It quite a lot like having good old common sense but a lot of the political elite either don’t get it or they are motivated by something more important to them than intelligence. Simple economics is you have something I need and to get it I give you something you need of equal value. In a Marxist economy I have something you need and you go get the government to take it from me. Sounds like what we are doing now. Anyway.

In a recession you want people to spend money. As I explained in my October 2009 blog every dollar spent in the private (non-government) sector is multiplied by a factor of three over a period of time, whereas if the government taxes a person the value of that dollar taken from them is reduced in to about eighty cents.

If government is trying to stimulate the economy by borrowing money then it makes it harder for the everyday businessman. The pool of money is not a separate pool for the government and a separate pool for the private sector. It is all one big pool. If the government borrows money from the pool then there is less for the private sector to borrow and thus the cost of borrowing goes up in either interest rates or the requirements of borrowing become more difficult. That is part of what we are seeing right now in this recession. Small businesses can’t get the money they need just to be able to maintain their current level of operation.

One writer compared it to taking a bucket out of one end of a pool and pouring in the other end and bragging about how much good work you’ve been doing. The problem when government borrows money there is always an overhead (bucket spillage) cost you don’t have in the private sector. There is always the extra handling, the delays, the restrictions, etc.

Consider also that the average public sector worker is now making an average of $70,000 a year while the average private sector worker is making about $40,000 a year. Every hour a public employee does the same work as a private sector employee it cost America almost twice as much. So even if the government was able to process tax payer’s monies and put it back into the economy at the same rate as the private sector we still lose a certain amount of value of the money. The government does not produce anything or add value to anything; they are simply an expense added to the cost of living in America. Anytime the government gets involved it cost more.

The more government cost us the more they want to raise taxes to cover their cost. They just love to spend and spend and spend other people’s money. Most of us when we have spent more than we should by over borrowing we realize at some point that we must stop spending and start paying back the money we borrowed. Otherwise the people we owe will come and take all those things away that we didn’t have the money to buy anyway. At some point when we’ve used up our credit and we have to start paying cash for everything. Then we must tighten our belts and do without things. Even the necessities may get cut if other things have a higher priority. We, you and me, don’t not have the luxury of raising taxes to cover our extravagant ways.

The government simply says you should pay them more so they can continue to spend all the money they want to on whatever luxury items they desire, just tax and tax and tax. The problem is the more they tax the less value the money has. Remember that the value of a dollar taxed when returned to the economy is eighty cent. The more they tax the less it becomes so the economy decreases and soon we will look like California or even Greece, very bad indeed.

The opposite is true if you cut taxes. I said before that for every dollar spent in the private sector it become about three dollars over a period of time. If the average person was paying taxes at a rate of 10% then for every dollar “added” to the economy it would return 30% in taxes over a short period of time. That means you would collect more in taxes when you give back a dollar to the private sector economy. What would be the fastest and easiest way to “add” dollars to the economy? A great big tax cut. For every dollar the government would cut in taxes it would return two dollars back, a 100% increase in tax revenues. That seems simple enough. That formula has been proven to work every time it has been tried.

In addition if we cut business taxes in half or more then money from outside the country would start flowing into America and add even more dollars to the economy and therefore even more tax revenue to run the necessary government programs and pay off this huge debt. Cutting business taxes would reduce the cost of manufacturing in the US so we could start producing things here again creating more and more manufacturing jobs for Americans. There is already thirteen trillion dollars in American money sitting in other countries because it cost too much (tax wise) to invest those dollars here. That is American money held by American companies and investors. How would an influx of thirteen trillion dollars affect our tax revenues? We could pay off our debt, end deficit spending, run all the programs we "need" (not want) and even return Social Security money back to the people who earned it (with interest). I would love to have that deal. And by the way, get rid of the IRS.

Jobs would increase so everyone who wanted to work could and make more money than ever before. There would be no need for welfare except for the disabled and elderly. That is not the socialist utopia some now want, it is the utopia of the American dream, freedom for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Cut taxes, spend more private (not borrowed) money, and get more investment money and jobs. Wow what a no brainer, except when it comes to our president(s) and congress. Maybe it has something to do with power and control and not common sense, duh.

If we did cut taxes the only problem would be to get our government to stop spending more than it makes. Just like you and me we have to know our limits. It is up to the people to be the good parent and just say “NO” the next time you go to the polls. Elect people who believe in spending less, taxing less and governing less with fewer restrictions. That is what made America great before and we can do it again.
